Located at the foot of the Perth hills, Brodie Stewart Music offers a high quality private recording studio with a relaxed and creative atmosphere. The studio provides a dedicated control room, a separate isolation room and a larger open space (each video-linked), allowing a wide range of acoustic possibilities. Using high quality microphones, preamps, converters and monitoring, your music can be captured down to the finest of details. Brodie is also a freelance engineer, meaning he can work out of any studio, including mobile/location recordings. Studio sessions can also be attended remotely via the internet, so no matter where you are in the world you can be part of the process.
An experienced musician, producer, recording, mixing and mastering engineer, Brodie has been working professionally in a studio environment for the past 10 years. A first class Honours graduate of the Jazz Performance course at WAAPA, and now a lecturer of the Contemporary Music course, Brodie has found his niche, specialising in recording, mixing, and mastering jazz and pop music. Attention to detail and a qualified experience of the genres is something Brodie prides himself on, helping you get the best out of your music.
Whilst Brodie enjoys all aspects of the recording process, he has an extreme passion for mixing. In 2021, Brodie decided to double down further on mixing and launch a new website specifically for this service:
